每年重陽節前，各圍村都忙於煮盆菜。我住在圍村超過十年，吃最多是上水盆菜，也吃過錦田元朗的盆菜，大致上差不多。是年的大圍盆菜宴，用鹽水鴨、粉絲和蝦做的盆菜，跟北區人以豬肉為主的盆菜不同。

過年前在 HKTV Mall 訂了一箱毛蟹，這隻北海道毛蟹很夠蟹味，很夠肉，在 whatsapp 群組吹一吹，大伙兒又團購了兩箱。
