這天即慶到谷埔遊，原因有三，一）有人想買蜜糖；二）日本買了二手相機，總要找個理由試一試；三）夏季將至，襯乍暖還寒之際，有得行山好行了。

這次美國之行早在一年前已經籌備，日蝕時間為八月尾，機位必然非常緊張。除了日蝕，其餘在美的時間則在逛大都會博物館，本來希望看完整個博物館，但極其量也只是看了一半。
