因朋友說要品嘗圍村盆菜，於是在 2014 年尾的長周末時搞了一場盆菜宴。

每年重陽節前，各圍村都忙於煮盆菜。我住在圍村超過十年，吃最多是上水盆菜，也吃過錦田元朗的盆菜，大致上差不多。是年的大圍盆菜宴，用鹽水鴨、粉絲和蝦做的盆菜，跟北區人以豬肉為主的盆菜不同。
呢排接完機都係去深水埗小菜王，貪其價格便宜，又開得夜，附近又易泊車。
2009 年跟同事去的台灣旅遊，到過台北、野柳、烏來等地方。
