2002 年 8 月中旬於緬因州 Acadia National Park 外遊時攝。

這次旅程選擇了廣島，原因是許多年前曾經計劃過廣島的家庭旅行，但後來因事取消了，這個沒成行的廣島旅遊好像成了一個未完成的使命。這次旅程先到宮島參觀及浸溫泉，再到廣島看廣島城及原爆遺址。當然少不了品嚐當地美食：廣島蠔、廣島燒及穴子飯，還有在日本必吃的拉麵、咖喱包及燒肉。

一個燕京同學會約了很久的燒烤活動。

除夕夜想開支紅酒，順理成章在冰箱找出兩塊一吋厚牛扒。牛扒不算厚，不用焗也不用慢煮，每面煎三分鐘可以了。
