2010 年紐約回港後，相約好友食飯及派手信。

三分吹雞帶我同花花去上環素藝舍。中菜 Fine Dining 一向是我喜愛的菜式，私房菜亦給予廚師充分準備，話雖小弟係食肉獸一名，但這仍然是一頓令人驚喜的晚宴。

天氣轉涼，又去谷埔食野同買蜜糖。

每年重陽節前，各圍村都忙於煮盆菜。我住在圍村超過十年，吃最多是上水盆菜，也吃過錦田元朗的盆菜，大致上差不多。是年的大圍盆菜宴，用鹽水鴨、粉絲和蝦做的盆菜，跟北區人以豬肉為主的盆菜不同。
