因為 Joan 剛轉新工作，不方便請假，是年的生日旅遊不能安排在我或 Joan 的正日生日，而是提前在生日前的周末。星期六凌晨抵達新加坡樟宜機場，星期一凌晨機返回香港，不多不小，前後剛好閃遊新加坡 48 小時。

每年重陽節前，各圍村都忙於煮盆菜。我住在圍村超過十年，吃最多是上水盆菜，也吃過錦田元朗的盆菜，大致上差不多。是年的大圍盆菜宴，用鹽水鴨、粉絲和蝦做的盆菜，跟北區人以豬肉為主的盆菜不同。
