每年生日總會計劃到外地旅遊，是年選擇了新加坡，臨出發前，朋友介紹我去新開的 Jewel 看人造瀑布，而且要看日景和夜景兩次。Jewel 除了瀑布外，還是一個碩大的購物中心，得閒可以留連大半天。

每年重陽節前，各圍村都忙於煮盆菜。我住在圍村超過十年，吃最多是上水盆菜，也吃過錦田元朗的盆菜，大致上差不多。是年的大圍盆菜宴，用鹽水鴨、粉絲和蝦做的盆菜，跟北區人以豬肉為主的盆菜不同。
