這次礁溪之旅構思了許多年，原因是八年前跟家人到礁溪旅行時，Joan 因事沒隨行，所以一直想再去礁溪。碰考星宇航空開始了香港的航點，便馬上訂了機票到台灣。
2016 年第一炮，約了舊公司同事吃盆菜。應 Edmund 要求，即場煎牛扒及豬扒供大家品嘗，還有 Patti 帶來的美味蘋果批。
