因為方便一家人自駕旅遊，行程都以近郊為主，而在大阪近郊，有城池也有溫泉，便選擇了和歌山及白濱這個行程。

酒店選擇了在國立競技場對面新開張的三井花園酒店，酒店位處明治神宮外苑及新宿御苑中間，位置上十分便利於看紅葉與銀杏，只是今年的明治神宮外苑的銀杏樹顯得有點稀疏。

每逢夏季 Ken 回港，去雲泉影荷花變成例行公事。
