五月時因公幹到了美國，文哥便組織了一個西岸家庭旅行團（順道把 UA 的里數用完）。出發前文哥患了腸胃炎，身體虛弱得不得了，差點要取消旅程。幸好最後如期出發，旅程完成後樂見他的精神比以前飽滿。

八月尾出席了圖書館系統的學術會議 IGELU，此次屬自費公幹，也是三個月內第二次到新加坡。說起來，五月尾的生日旅遊搞得比較即興，一抽起條筋便去訂機票訂酒店，完全沒想起三個月後要再來公幹，所以弄成兩次新加坡遊的時間這麼接近。
