這次美國之行早在一年前已經籌備，日蝕時間為八月尾，機位必然非常緊張。除了日蝕，其餘在美的時間則在逛大都會博物館，本來希望看完整個博物館，但極其量也只是看了一半。

攝於 2005 年農曆新年前夕，見圍村地方過年氣氛濃厚，便拿了相機出去影相。為給自己一個實習功課，特別不用廣角鏡，帶了一支 Sigma 70-300 Macro。
