十一月底碰上黑色星期五優惠，買到二月頭農曆年假期前往關西的平價機票。再來到關西，這次計劃向西走，到岡山、姬路及神戶，前兩地有日本城參觀，神戶只是方便返回關西機場，及後再加上到有馬浸溫泉的行程。

這次美國之行早在一年前已經籌備，日蝕時間為八月尾，機位必然非常緊張。除了日蝕，其餘在美的時間則在逛大都會博物館，本來希望看完整個博物館，但極其量也只是看了一半。
