來到沖繩後，發覺許多地方不似預期，但多了點驚喜。石垣牛、阿古豬不似預期，刺身也沒有想像中好，但沖繩麵卻令人驚喜。沖繩少了一點日本味道，多了一點中國和美國的影子。

對上一次圖書館協會外訪團要追索至六年前，小弟極希望要在是年卸任前完成外訪團。一早定下外訪地點是泰國曼谷，原因是當地有書商照應，到訪了泰國國家圖書館、朱拉隆功大學、泰國創意設計中心及西里拉醫學圖書館。
