酒店選擇了在國立競技場對面新開張的三井花園酒店，酒店位處明治神宮外苑及新宿御苑中間，位置上十分便利於看紅葉與銀杏，只是今年的明治神宮外苑的銀杏樹顯得有點稀疏。

因為 Joan 手上的旅行哩數快要到期，不多不少只能換到短線機票，最後 book 到來回曼谷的機票。可惜的是安排不到生日當天起程或回程，但在外地過生日也算是美事。
因朋友說要品嘗圍村盆菜，於是在 2014 年尾的長周末時搞了一場盆菜宴。
