這次美國之行早在一年前已經籌備，日蝕時間為八月尾，機位必然非常緊張。除了日蝕，其餘在美的時間則在逛大都會博物館，本來希望看完整個博物館，但極其量也只是看了一半。

這次北海道之旅可算來得突然，二月時人事部告知我要在三月底前清五天假，否則將被當作放棄。如是者，便四處看看有沒有平機票，剛巧看北海道機票才五千元上下，便計劃了五天行程。
