這次美國之行早在一年前已經籌備，日蝕時間為八月尾，機位必然非常緊張。除了日蝕，其餘在美的時間則在逛大都會博物館，本來希望看完整個博物館，但極其量也只是看了一半。

阿媽剛落機便到黃大仙美味齋上海菜館吃晚飯。紐約親友每每乘搭聯合航空晚機回港後，都會錯過了晚飯時間，唯獨美味齋營業至凌晨三時，三哥打趣地說，美味齋成了我們到埗後必到都食堂。
