文哥回港短聚，是日一早到新香園吃蛋牛治，中午到菠蘿推介的深井傅記食燒鵝。

菠蘿一家大細來了上水家訪，Otis&Serena 異口同聲地說要吃牛排，剛好冰箱還有幾塊牛扒，只是最小的一塊也有三吋厚。牛排先慢煮 5 小時（54 度），再用煎 pan 無面煎兩分鐘。

天氣轉涼，又去谷埔食野同買蜜糖。

想了幾年的河背水塘遊，臨行前一晚驚覺朋友家原來距離河背水塘很接近，於是便邀請朋友同行，順道泊低架車。
