酒店選擇了在國立競技場對面新開張的三井花園酒店，酒店位處明治神宮外苑及新宿御苑中間，位置上十分便利於看紅葉與銀杏，只是今年的明治神宮外苑的銀杏樹顯得有點稀疏。
受同行友人邀請，四月初到大阪參加業界學術會議，順道觀賞大阪櫻花。

荃灣蘭香馳名雜醬麵，舖面雖小，但早年新張時卻有一班影星剪綵，也許老闆是娛樂圈中人。早飯後去了鐵路博物館一遊。
