因疫情關係，原先訂好的機票一再改期，直至 2021 年 9 月左右，收到消息指媽媽在美國跌倒，便決定如期赴美，當時回港需要隔離 21 日。
這次北海道之旅可算來得突然，二月時人事部告知我要在三月底前清五天假，否則將被當作放棄。如是者，便四處看看有沒有平機票，剛巧看北海道機票才五千元上下，便計劃了五天行程。
